Group Therapy

What Can Group Therapy Do For You?
Life is filled with ups and downs, and sometimes it can feel like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. There are times when you might feel like no one truly understands what you’re going through, whether it’s anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, isolation, or relationship challenges.
It’s hard when we feel like we’re not supported or offered the compassion we need to get by. This is where group therapy can make a real difference. It creates a space where you no longer feel alone in your struggles—a community that encourages emotional expression and meaningful connections through mutual support and shared experiences.
Our group sessions are designed to ensure that every individual has the time and space they need to fully engage. This will allow you to openly share your thoughts and feelings, listen to others do the same, and experience relief. With the guidance of a nurturing therapist, group therapy can help you bolster your support system, hold you accountable, and encourage you to progress toward the goals you set for yourself.
It’s not about learning new techniques or strategies—it’s about sharing your journey, getting honest feedback, and finding a deeper understanding of yourself and others.
At Attune Counseling Center we currently facilitate two groups.
1st Group:
Processing Group (In-person and Ongoing)
Our processing group therapy is designed to support a wide range of individuals, especially those who feel most at ease in a welcoming and interactive setting. These groups offer a safe space to connect with others while working through your challenges. Who may benefit the most from joining this group?
- Those Seeking Emotional Support – If you’re struggling with grief, loss, or unresolved past traumas, this group can help you find the emotional support you truly need to heal. It’s also ideal if you feel isolated or misunderstood and are looking to connect with others who get what you’re going through.
- People Navigating Mental Health Challenges – If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or any other emotional struggle, this is the space where you can openly express your feelings and work through them. It’s also helpful for anyone feeling stuck in their healing journey and seeking new perspectives or insights.
- Anyone Looking to Improve Relationships – This group is great for people who face challenges with boundaries, trust, or communication in personal or professional relationships. Whether you’re going through family and friendship conflicts, breakups, or other relationship hurdles, you’ll find a space for reflection and support with us.
- Individuals Seeking Personal Growth & Self-Awareness – If you’re looking to better understand your emotions, patterns, and behaviors, or if you’re working on self-acceptance and personal development, this group offers a supportive environment for growth and deeper self-reflection.
- Those Going Through Major Life Transitions – Whether you’re navigating a divorce, changing jobs, or adjusting to new stages of life, these groups provide an environment to explore your feelings and gain support as you adjust to major life shifts.
