About me:
Life is a myriad of events and emotions. We celebrate milestones and successes and struggle with loss and disappointments. Even with shared experiences, we are unique beings with different backgrounds, ethnicities, and ecological experiences and stages along life’s journey, which is why we value human connection.
We long to share our stories to find common bonds with others. By being vulnerable, we hope the risk we take blossoms into a bond of trust where we are seen, accepted, and loved. The beauty of this process is that it inherently has risks that show up in our lives in various ways. Whether surfacing at an existential fork in the road or at a new stage in life, looking for new meaning and purpose, or longing for comfort and guidance while grieving the loss of someone, a treasured time, or healing emotional wounds, support and guidance with uncovering strengths and embracing identity may present areas to explore.
Our perception of all our experiences, including trauma, manifests in many ways and can be felt in the body and the mind. The physical and mental connection is powerful, affecting our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and ultimately choices in life. Unresolved emotions from past experiences and ruptured relationships can control how we react to current or present experiences, manifesting in ways we are unaware of in our body and mind, affecting our nervous system and our behavioral responses, and our choices and outcomes in life-based on triggers from the past.
Sometimes, we feel stuck or lost and don’t know how and why or how we arrived at this point in our lives, which can create a sense of urgency to figure it out or solve the problem or issue, which is a great reason to seek collaboration. Maybe a feeling of a desire for something different or not knowing why there is a longing for change or something else empowers motivation to uncover the discomfort, and it’s hard to know how to take the first step. Feeling comfortable with the uncomfortable creates a challenge for self-awareness, however necessary to make changes or process past experiences.
I enjoy joining you and walking along the twists and turns of your life, diving into depths of discovery, exploring and understanding your patterns to find the most authentic way you want to move along your life’s journey, no matter what stage in life, to find meaning, perspective, and possibilities for growth and development. An environment of openness and honesty creates a haven of discovery and self- awareness, trust is fostered, and growth and development are born.
We only have one life. And thankfully we can choose what to do with this short time on earth. And sometimes, we need help to find our purpose and meaning in this life. We need someone to hold the lantern along this part of our life’s path and illuminate the areas of opportunity so we can discover our strengths. I have the privilege and honor of meeting people where they are at this point in their lives, with genuine empathy, empowering self-love and self-compassion, manifesting in sustainable growth and development, empowering people to be the person they want to be and live the life they want to live.
